Resolution Passed for Five Funds
Please be informed that the special resolution to wind up the following Funds have been unanimously passed at the Unit Holders’ Meeting held on 24 and 25 February 2014:
1. Hong Leong GEM Resources Strategic Fund
2. Hong Leong GEMS Cash Plus Fund
3. Hong Leong Global Resources Income Fund
4. Hong Leong Vietnam Strategic Fund
5. Hong Leong Vietnam Fund
Course of Action
In view of this, please be advised that affected Unit Holders may do either of the following:
1. Redeem / Switch
Unit Holders may submit the above request to their servicing representative before 24 March 2014. Please be informed that redemption/switching requests are not allowed after the above-mentioned date. The value of redemption / switch will be based on the Fund’s Net Asset Value (NAV) on the transaction date.
For redemption requests received by 24 March 2014, payment shall be disbursed within 10 calendar days.
2. Await Payment
If no redemption/switching request is received, payment shall be subsequently disbursed to Unit Holders based on the final payout price of the Fund’s termination on 17 April 2014 and payment shall be issued from 21 April 2014 onwards.
